Scoring Well On Any Par Five Requires Solid Golf Swing Mechanics

Scoring Well On Any Par Five Requires Solid Golf Swing Mechanics

The par five gives the golfer the best opportunity to score a birdie. A birdie is any score that is one stroke below par. The par five also give the golfer the best chanch to score an eagle. The eagle is a score produced on a hole which is two under par. Taking this a step further, you would score an albatross if you go three under par on a par five. The ultimate score you could achieve would be to hole out a par five in one shot. This would be a called a condor. Holes-in-one on two such par-5s are known to have happened. One was even recorded with a 3-iron! That one was made by Shaun Lynch, playing at Teign Valley Golf Club in Christow, England, in 1995, on the 496-yard No. 17. Scoring well on any par five requires the use of solid golf swing mechanics.
